I believe that God is Love. That He is benevolent, omnipotent, and omnipresent. I believe that He is Emmanuel, God with us. 

 

I believe in the Holy Trinity, that God is three in one. He exists as God the Father, was incarnated in Jesus Christ the Son, and is present in the Holy Spirit. 

 

I believe in the Fall of man, that humans are incapable, under their own authority or power, to overcome sin. I believe that humans are innately flawed and all, whether admittedly or not, long to be fully known and loved. Only God can fulfill this longing. 

 

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, who died and was resurrected from the grave; who overcame death so that humans could freely love Him in return.

 

I believe that God granted humanity free will. Although He is all knowing, He gives us the choice to accept or reject His love, because true, pure love is never forced but freely given. 

 

I believe that the Bible is a divinely inspired text with historic and cultural relevance, which records the work of God in the world, through which God may speak to us. 

 

I believe The Church to be the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit that exists when two or more gather in His presence. I believe God created us to live in community with one another. I believe The Church exists to (1) bring praise and glory to the King, (2) be a well of love and replenishing vitality for His people, (3) be a safe haven for the sick, tired, and weary; where people can come as they are and explore their faith and, (4) be a light to the world through its practice of altruism. 

 

I believe the only thing God requires of us is to love Him and others to the best of our ability by His example. I believe that if one actively engages in a relationship with Him, one will live a life that reflects this love to others.
