Lost in You.
thoughts on life, love & God
hi, i'm heather
a christian writer trying to navigate this
beautifully chaotic existence
I am, first and foremost, a follower of Christ. I believe that God is love and my greatest joy comes from seeing His love permeate the world we live in. He is my heartbeat, my lifeline and my greatest companion. I owe everything I am to Him and would be doing a disservice to my readers, and to my God, if I did not put Him at the center. (my personal statement of faith can be found here)
I am also a lifelong writer, reader and student. I have always processed my faith and my life through writing, and my hope is that by sharing some of these musings we might know that we are not alone. The human condition is messy and confusing; it is difficult and tragic, but also wonderful and stunning. These thoughts are offered as a reflection and record of that existence.

A little more about me: I attended Pepperdine University where I earned a Bachelor’s in Religion and Psychology with a minor in Hispanic Studies. I have lived/visited over 20 countries, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Argentina, and the US. I currently call Connecticut home, where I work as a Youth Associate for Noroton Presbyterian Church. In my free time you can find me reading at my favorite coffee shop, running at the gym, or wake-surfing with my family.
